What does the AI adoption index measure?
Five figures of AI take-up: the share of job ads that are AI roles, the share of websites with an AI chat assistant, the share blocking OpenAI’s GPTBot, the share publishing an llms.txt, and agent readiness, a score out of 100 of how well AI agents can do business with a website.
How often is it updated?
The hiring figure every week, as the share of job ads opened in the last 30 days. The website figures every day, and agent readiness every week.
Which industries hire the most for AI?
The board sets every industry side by side. Choose the AI roles column to sort the industries by the share of their job ads that are AI roles.
What counts as an AI role?
A job ad for a role that builds AI or puts it to work, from machine learning engineers to AI product managers and AI trainers.
Which AI chat assistants are counted?
Chat tools that answer visitors with AI, such as Chatbase, Zipchat, Ada and Landbot. Live chat tools that offer AI among their features count as live chat.
