About the switchers board
Which ecommerce platform are stores moving to?
The board counts every company whose website moved from one ecommerce platform to another, month by month, with the pair it moved between. Switch to CMSs for content platforms such as WordPress, Webflow and Sanity.
How do you know a company switched platforms?
A move is counted when a company’s website runs on a different platform from the one it ran on before: the platform it left and the one it moved to are both dated to the month the change was seen.
Can I see which companies switched?
Yes. A free account lists the companies behind each move, 25 at a time, with their website, industry, country and the month of the move, and filters the whole board by industry and country.
Which platforms are gaining and losing the most?
The gained and lost list sets the companies each platform won against the companies it lost over the same months, so the net change for every platform reads at a glance.
Can I get every switch as data?
The Fokals MCP and API return every platform change with its company, website and date, for any list, industry or country.
